چکیده
In order to meet the ambitious emission-reduction targets of Paris Agreement, energy efficient transition building sector requires retrofit methodologies as a critical part greenhouse-gas (GHG) emissions mitigation plan, since in 2050 high proportion current global stock will still be use. This paper reviews with focus on contrast between data-driven approaches that utilize measured data, acquired through either 1) on-site sensor deployment or 2) from pre-aggregated national repositories data. Differentiating bottom-up can divided into white-, grey- and black-box modelling, top-down analytical methods clustering regression, this presents state-of-the-art methodologies; outlines their strengths weaknesses; briefly highlights challenges implementation concludes by identifying hybrid approach - lean in-situ measurements supplemented modelling for verification potential strategy develop implement more robust stock.

Towards Data-driven Building Retrofit
Due to the relatively low construction rate of new buildings in Europe, the energetic performance of the building stock can mainly be improved by retrofitting existing buildings. Current methods to derive and assess retrofit measures require either on-site inspection by an expert consultant and code based approaches, or numerical simulations using a building energy model that needs to be first ...

متن کاملEnergy Retrofit Strategies for Residential Building Envelopes: An Italian Case Study of an Early-50s Building
During the last few years, the issues of energy efficiency and energy saving have dominated the buildings research field. New constructions are based on efficient design and, because of this, the real challenge is to retrofit existing buildings. Italian standards impose thermal transmittance limits for opaque and transparent surfaces, according to the climatic area. In order to understand build...
متن کاملBuilding and Community Energy Retrofit Housing in Wales
This paper presents a modelling-led approach applied to low carbon innovative housing retrofit practice in Wales, UK. The research has investigated the implementation of combinations of existing and emerging low carbon technologies through a systems based approach to optimise the use of energy at the point of generation at both building and community scales. A performance prediction model has b...
